Customers are interested in technology that helps them easily manage their lives and reduces hassles. Recent studies have shown that there is a higher level of customer satisfaction when health service providers expand their treatment options to include telehealth solutions. The presentation will discuss areas for consideration when utilizing technology to provide behavioral health treatment and/or support services. An overview of some current legal, ethical and value-based treatment trends will be discussed.

Goals:
1. Gain a working knowledge of the value and ethical use of technology in telehealth when providing behavioral health services.
2. Greater understanding of the complexity and current issues when using telehealth for behavioral health services.
3. Trends for telehealth initiated by Medicare (CMS).
